Our Background
Starting from humble beginnings in 1973, Emico was founded by Mr. Lim Beng Huan and Madam Loh Lay Choo, initially operating in the retail business, specializing in trophies, souvenirs, and signboards.
In 1985, we took a significant step forward by acquiring industrial land in the Bayan Lepas Industrial Area, venturing into full-scale manufacturing of trophy products and initiating exports to Southeast Asia and Australia.
In 1994, Emico was successfully listed on Bursa Malaysia. Over the years, we expanded our scope into contract manufacturing, trading & sourcing, and even property development.
Today, we have evolved into a global leader in plastic trophy manufacturing, exporting to over 50 countries worldwide. Emico proudly holds the title of Malaysia’s largest trophy manufacturer, as recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records.
